Quality engineering

Catch failures before your users do.

A broken permission check, a failed sign-in, or a silent data error can stop a user’s day. I test the behaviour that matters most and build automation that helps teams keep it working as the product changes.

Requirements and test design

Resolve ambiguous requirements before they become conflicting implementations. I turn business rules, permissions, and edge cases into testable expectations so the team shares a clear picture of what should happen.

UI and API testing

Follow a task from the interface through the API, including authentication, permissions, and failure states. Reproducible findings help engineers get from a reported symptom to the behaviour that needs fixing.

Test automation

Give recurring checks a dependable place in the release process. I automate UI and API regression tests around meaningful behaviour, with controlled data and readable failures that help engineers respond when something breaks.

Accessibility and performance

Keep slow responses and inaccessible controls from blocking everyday tasks. I investigate the experience with browser diagnostics and tools such as Lighthouse, DevTools, axe, and WAVE.

Evidence for the next release

Test plans, traceable cases, automated checks, and reproducible defect reports give teams a clearer basis for deciding what to fix and when to release. I make coverage and remaining risks visible so those decisions rest on observed behaviour.

Relevant experience

For over 6 years, I’ve tested internal platforms, bespoke software, and tools becoming SaaS products. The work includes access-controlled workflows, UI and API regression coverage, and failures that cross application boundaries.
