Product engineering

Turn product requirements into usable interfaces and workflows.

I build web products with attention to the behaviour users depend on: clear state, reliable API interactions, accessible interfaces, and practical performance.

Where I contribute

I build interfaces that make the next step clear, connect them to the APIs behind the workflow, and account for loading, errors, and recovery. When an internal tool becomes a SaaS product, I help adapt assumptions about users, permissions, and everyday use beyond the organisation it was first built for.

Selected product work

Chronos Ledger

An offline-first scheduling app with recurring plans, conflict handling, local persistence, and import/export workflows. The project explores what dependable interaction means when connectivity is unreliable.

Onboarding Tour App

A dashboard and embeddable onboarding widget. My work connects product configuration, reusable interfaces, and the constraints of running inside another application.

MyTickets Manager

A ticket-management system with consistent workflows across React, Vue, and Twig. Shared product rules keep ticket creation, updates, and status changes familiar across the different interfaces.

Engineering approach

Clarify the workflow, agree the behaviour and boundaries, implement in reviewable increments, and verify the important paths and failure cases. Loading states, permissions, validation, and recovery belong in the product conversation from the beginning.

My experience includes JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, Next.js, and WordPress. Specific tools depend on the existing product and the team’s needs. Read my delivery history or explore the quality engineering work.
